The "19 Kids and Counting" alum shared that she is preparing to welcome a seventh child into the growing family's Arkansas home.
“19 Kids and Counting” alum Jessa Duggar has revealed that she is expecting her seventh child.
The TLC star and her husband, Ben Seewald, shared the news on the Oct. 28 episode of “The Unplanned Podcast with Matt and Abby.”
“We have six kids, and we’re actually expecting again,” Jessa, 33, said. “Yeah, six weeks pregnant with number seven.”
The Seewalds—who began dating on the show in 2013 and got married a year later—are already parents to Spurgeon Elliot, 10; Henry Wilberforce, 9; Ivy Jane, 7; Fern Elliana, 5; George Augustine, 2; and Edward Owen, 1.
The growing family resides in an 1,800-square-foot Springdale, AR, home they purchased in 2022. The abode is conveniently located right next to Immanuel Baptist Church, where Seewald works as a pastor.

(YouTube/The Unplanned Podcast) “We are dumping a decent amount of our savings into this,” Duggar explained in a 2022 YouTube video, as part of a series where she shared the process of renovating the fixer-upper.
“But we feel it will suit our needs for years to come. So for that, it’s worth it,” she said.
The open floor-plan dwelling has received various updates in the four years they’ve called it home, with Duggar sharing her projects and home decor tips on YouTube.
Although they chose not to “change the footprint of the house”—and have received questions around some unusual features such as a fireplace located directly behind the front door—they’ve made a handful of updates to enhance the aesthetic and functionality.
In a house tour video, Duggar has noted that when it comes to furniture, she adores a “Scandinavian or midcentury” vibe, and has filled the home with sleek wood pieces in neutral tones.
Admitting that the couches she purchased were certainly a “bit of an investment,” she felt that they were worth it because “they will last a good, long while” and she wanted to intentionally decorate the home with “more of a minimalist style” instead of filling it with “a lot of knick knacks.”

Although they've spent time updating the home, they haven't changed the footprint, despite questions about some of its unusual layout quirks. “I feel like this transition to six kids has been quite smooth. Probably the easiest so far,” she shared.
Although she couldn’t pinpoint “exactly why” the adjustment felt easier the sixth time around, she noted that “out of necessity” the family had adopted more set schedules and routines.
“I feel like things that used to feel more overwhelming now don’t really feel like that. It’s just like, second nature,” she explained. “Keeping on top of the dishes and laundry and all of that. The bigger things, keeping our main spaces clean and tidy, like the living room, dining room, kitchen… we’re just picking up multiple times throughout the day. And so things that used to feel more daunting or overwhelming are not so much anymore.”
After sharing the news of her latest pregnancy on “The Unplanned Podcast,” Duggar also expressed major gratitude for her mother, Michelle Duggar, who has always been there to lend a helping hand.
“Every time that we’ve had a baby, she’s there at the hospital helping us through,” she said. “She’ll stay up all night with your newborn, care for your newborn so you can sleep… She’s just an angel.”
Explaining that her “support network is invaluable,” Duggar shared that her hands-on mom helps keep the house in order when any of her children bring home a new bundle of joy—often offering to spend the night to assist where she can.
“Either she’s staying at my house, cooking, cleaning, and doing all the things, or she’s like, ‘Let me take the kids out to a park,’” Duggar said. “I think we hardly did any parenting for like, five days after this last baby was born because she was like, let me take the kids.”
Duggar's parents—mom, Michelle, and dad, Jim Bob Duggar, who married in 1984 and are reported to currently have 35 grandchildren—live nearby in Fayetteville, AR.
