Beckham, 33, signed a new contract with the Giants in June—12 years after he was drafted by the team as a Rookie.
NFL legend Odell Beckham Jr. has vowed to do whatever he can to help propel the New York Giants to their first Super Bowl win in 15 years when he returns to the team for the 2026 season—while admitting that he "never wanted to leave" the city where he launched his professional career.
Beckham, 33, who hails from Baton Rouge, LA, was originally selected by the Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, having earned a great deal of attention from scouts when he was playing with the LSU Tigers.
He spent five seasons with the New York-based team before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019—a move that was slammed by Giants fans and pundits alike.
However, after cycling through multiple teams across the U.S., including the Los Angeles Rams, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Miami Dolphins, Beckham signed a new contract with the Giants in June—and, during a recent conversation with Bilt founder Ankur Jain, he hinted that he hopes to finish up his NFL career with the team where it all began.
"What drew me back to New York and the Giants is deeper than football. Well, first, I never wanted to leave; it's just my home and there's no place better than New York," Beckham explained, while taking part in the financial rewards company's monthly Rent Free game show, which allows its members to win up to $2,500 in rent payments.
Now that he is back in the Big Apple, Beckham made clear his desire to help the Giants reach the Super Bowl, a feat the team has not been achieved since 2012, the same year the team won its last NFL championship.
"I just want to win one for the Giants more than anything, and I'm here to give it my all, give it my heart, during my last couple of years. We'll see what God got planned," the sports star continued.

(Bilt) Beckham will have an opportunity to prove his mettle when the team kicks off its season with a game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 13, when the world will be watching to see whether he is able to recreate what is arguably the most iconic moment of his career: a one-handed catch that scored the Giants a touchdown against the same team in 2014.
It is a moment that the NFL star admitted he not only thinks about during his waking hours—but also when he's sleeping, revealing to Jain that he actually had a dream about completing a similar feat in an upcoming game, hailing it the "catch 2.0."
"I haven’t told too many people this but I had a huge dream—that there was some kind of catch 2.0," he revealed. "We’ll see what that means. It’s just a dream, but the first tattoo I ever got said ‘Make dreams a reality’ so a lot of mine have come true."
He joked that the dream is "living rent free" in his head at the moment, adding: "I don't know if it was a catch that was better than the catch, but there was some kind of iconic moment.
"And one of the biggest moments, being able to bring a Super Bowl back to New York, and also, my son, he's always at the top of my mind. Those are the things I'd say are living rent free in my head."
Before the Giants go head-to-head with the Cowboys, fans will get a taste of what Beckham plans to bring back to the New York team during preseason, when they will play the Minnesota Vikings, followed by the Miami Dolphins.
However, the NFL pro is already back in the swing of things, having reported to the Giants' East Rutherford, NJ, facility for training camp on July 28—when the team will travel to West Virginia, where the preseason camp will be held.
When they return to New York and the Met Life stadium, it's unclear where, exactly, Beckham will take up residence, having rented a property in New Jersey the last time he played with the Giants.
The Weehawken abode, which features five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, offered incredible views of the Manhattan city skyline—as well as an array of impressive amenities, including a three-car garage, a private elevator, and a very impressive security system.

The athlete has teamed up with financial rewards platform Bilt to offer its members a month of free rent. (Bilt) Described in a previous listing as a "magnificent" dwelling, it last sold for just under $2.3 million in 2024, according to records.
Interestingly, Beckham has chosen to rent rather than buy in most of the cities he has played in—save for Ohio, where he purchased a four-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion in Columbia Station for $1.62 million in 2019, the same year that he was traded to the Browns.
He sold that property for the much higher price of $2.7 million in August 2022, records show, and it's unclear whether he has purchased another dwelling in the years since, although his career has taken him to multiple different locations during that time.
Should he fulfill his dream of spending his final NFL years playing with the Giants, however, Beckham, whose net worth is estimated at anywhere between $20 million and $45 million, may well see fit to lay down much more permanent roots around the Big Apple.
Despite the team's name tying them to New York, many of the players actually choose to live closer to the MetLife stadium, which is located in East Rutherford, NJ, leading many of its stars to settle down closer to that area.
Short Hills, Fort Lee, Hoboken, and Franklin Lakes have all been popular with Giants players over the years—although it may be that Beckham opts to return to Weehawken when he does choose his ideal abode.
Soon after signing his latest contract with the Giants, Beckham emphasized his commitment to the team—and to helping the side get back on top, telling reporters at a press conference in June: "It felt great just being back out there, being back in the building, on this field, looking at this stadium, it’s a pretty surreal feeling.
"I know I’ve got a lot of work to do. … I came here to earn it. Just work hard every day and be the best I can for the team.
"I’m just trying to be whatever I can for this team and be the best version of myself," he added.
